PlayStreet Specially Abled Educare Trust (since 2012) in the city of Bangalore, India is an organization working to become the voice of autistic individuals and create a platform for them to be understood, heard and soothed and provide support to them to realize their true potential and empower parents and families in this journey.
The month of April is very special to us as we try to bring the thoughts and work of various people across the world to share their valuable knowledge and experience with the world in the view of World Autism Awareness month. In 2022, we brought a summit on “Importance of Movement, Relationships and Consciousness for managing Autism". This year PlayStreet wants to take the tradition forward with worldwide experts with another topic of paramount importance which is “The impact of using AAC in the lives of individuals and families with Autism”.
Communication is the heart of relationships and relationships are mandatory ingredient of human survival and quality of life, thus this topic holds a great value to the families with individuals with Autism and also for various professionals working with autistic individuals.
