Move, Play, Grow.

“Three words, intrinsically linked and coded into the foundation of how we are to journey through this passage called life. Three separate words but so seamlessly connected for our physical, emotional and intellectual wellbeing. Experience has demonstrated that one cannot do without the other. Unfortunately, there will be times or congenital situations when one or two are not doing as well as the other, creating an imbalance or stress to the human system. Life is also such that we will always have external or internal factors that could throw a spanner or spanners into the works. We can get thrown off track or get stuck in a place, creating confusion and derailing our physical, emotional and intellectual growth.”

Dates and Times:

July 29 - August 1, 2021 - GMT (+8)*

Session with Kim:

In our era that recognizes cognition as a variable of optimum value, movement and play are neurobiological foundations that enhance performance over our lifetime.

Move, Play and Grow

Day 3 – 31 July, Time Zone 1 starts 8:00 am (GMT+8)

Movement that is immersed in play directly influences neurobiological underpinnings of growth and healthy development. Kim Barthel, OTR highlights the positive impact of play and movement upon the holistic development of the child. As the brain is forming and children are increasingly interacting with the world, time immersed in free unstructured play directly helps with motor control, creativity, socialization, and self-esteem. In our era that recognizes cognition as a variable of optimum value, movement and play are neurobiological foundations that enhance performance over our lifetime. This keynote session will connect the holistic impact that movement and play have upon growth and function.

This conference is open to the public.
