This three-hour workshop for C/NDT therapists will meld the concepts of attachment, attunement and handling. The art of putting your mind in the mind of the child allows therapists to anticipate, respond and support clients with their affect, words and play skills as well as their hands. In the certification process, NDT therapists are inherently trained to “listen and respond” with their hands, which at times can appear magical to witness. This session, through lecture, video-tape analysis and discussion, will expand on these skills of attunement and connection, exploring and combining ways to connect with our clients on all levels.
