Becoming a Behavioural Detective: Understanding and Supporting Complex Behaviour of Children with Autism & Developmental Challenges

Eight Live Zoom Webinar Sessions with Kim/Relationship Matters and Therapy India in India*

*Open to India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and now open to all of Middle East due to high demand

Description:

There is always a reason for the behaviour! This powerful series of live, online professional development modules will provide an understanding of the why people do the things they do. The focus will be on complex and challenging behaviour, and what’s going on behind it - from developmental disabilities to emotional/relational problems, from attachment strategies to the integrated neurobiology of sensory processing. Participants will be invited to forevermore become behavioural detectives, using informed clinical reasoning to look deeper than the surface actions we observe. By seeking to understand why people do the things they do, we allow compassion into the equation. This mindset of clinical curiosity supports treatment strategies that are relevant at school, at home, and in all levels of relationships.

Participants:

This interactive series of eight modules is designed to support occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, psychologists, counsellors, special educators, physical therapists and physicians. Each module is 90 minutes in length, held weekly at 9:00 pm Indian Time. All modules will be recorded, and will be available to registered participants for 30 days at no additional charge.
