There is always a reason for the behaviour! This powerful two-day workshop will provide an understanding of why people do the things they do.
The focus will be on “complex and challenging behaviour”, and what’s going on behind it - from developmental disabilities to emotional/relational problems, from attachment strategies to the integrated neurobiology of sensory processing. Participants will be invited to forevermore become behavioural detectives, using informed clinical reasoning to look deeper than the surface actions we observe. By seeking to understand why people do the things they do, we allow compassion into the equation. This mindset of clinical curiosity supports treatment strategies at school, at home, and in all levels of relationships.

Have a deeper understanding of the function of challenging behaviour, and the many factors that may be involved
