This workshop explores the roles of the vestibular system and vision in regulation, behaviour, and learning, applicable across neurodiverse populations. Gain practical assessment skills and strategies for diverse settings.This evidence-based, neuroscience-driven course bridges theory and practice to enhance your clinical reasoning and intervention strategies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this 3-day interactive workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze the role of the vestibular system in posture, movement, and functional performance.

  • Summarize the neurobiological contributions of the vestibular system to regulation, emotion, cognition, and learning.

  • Evaluate the impact of the visual system on postural control, behaviour, and motor skills.

  • Interpret current science on how visual processing affects regulation, emotion, and learning.

  • Apply clinical observation and video case analysis to assess vestibular–visual function.

  • Develop integrative strategies to support clients with vestibular–visual challenges across diverse clinical populations.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This workshop is specifically designed for Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech–Language Pathologists, Psychologists, and Optometrists (particularly Developmental Optometrists); however, individuals from related fields with an interest in learning are also welcome to participate.
