Every Child, Every Day: Building an Inclusive Early Years Community
The əts ha̓ stim iʔ scəcm̓álaʔ | Every Child, Every Day Conference, an inspiring and collaborative event focused on the needs of young children in our caregiving eco-systems, is designed for early years providers OR students in an early years post-secondary program, including educators, caregivers, and service providers in preschools, daycares, and service agencies within the Central Okanagan.

· Location: Coast Capri Hotel, Kelowna
· About: Keynotes, Workshops, Door Prizes, Breakfast and Lunch Provided
· Pre-Conference Activity for early RSVPs: Friday, February 28, 2025 (Land-based Pre-Conference Activity)
· Cost: FREE, thanks to sponsorship from MCFD and the ECE PD Bursary Fund.

Expert Insights: Hear from subject matter experts on universal design principles and strategies for supporting the diverse developmental needs of children.
Indigenous Perspectives: Gain insights from the Indigenous community, with perspectives woven throughout the event in partnership with the səxʷkn̓xitəlx k̓l̓ c̓əc̓málaʔ Aboriginal Early Years Table of the Central Okanagan.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with other early childhood professionals from across the region to share knowledge, collaborate, and build a supportive community.
Resources at Your Fingertips: Registered attendees will have access to the Whova app, where you can explore the full agenda, access speakers information, and enjoy networking opportunities with other participants. In addition, the conference will connect you to a selection of vendors related to the topics of the conference, offering valuable products, resources, and services to support inclusive practices in early childhood education.
Eligibility:
This conference is designed for those who care for young children in a variety of educational and caregiving settings. Eligible participants include:
Early childhood educators
Early childhood educator assistants
School-age child care providers
Licensed family child care providers
Registered license-not-required child care providers
Head Start / Strong Start Specialists
Participants who have completed the Responsible Adult course
Post-Secondary Students in an Early Childhood Education Program
Infant Development and Supported Child Development Consultants
Other professionals working with children aged 0-12
