This live virtual workshop will be held though Webinar Meeting, and it will be much more engaging than a webinar. Kim will combine theory, storytelling from real examples, demo videos, live demos, group clinical reasoning and opportunities for participants to practice with someone in their environment. The presentation will include a PowerPoint that can be self-printed as a resource, and importantly each participant will get viewing access to the video recordings for 30 days following the workshop.
The learner will acquire a preliminary understanding of the neurobiology of movement disorders in ASD.
The learner will develop an introductory understanding of the concepts of Neuro-Developmental Treatment.
The learner will acquire a comparative understanding between typical motor development and the motor control issues in ASD.
The learner will acquire introductory skills in hands on facilitation of movement patterns in the child with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
